Peacebuilding through Public History and the Humanities: A Panel Discussion

  • Axinn Center 229 Old Chapel Road Middlebury, VT, 05753 United States (map)

Explore how the Henry Sheldon Museum of Vermont History uses objects and archives to foster empathy and connection. Centered on the Charity & Sylvia collection and curriculum, this program highlights how historical inquiry and object study can open space for reflection, dialogue, and a deeper understanding of the past. Through this work, participants are invited to consider how local history, archives and objects can serve as powerful tools for empathy-building and peacebuilding in our communities.

Please note this event will be held at the Axinn Center - Middlebury College. Open to the public. All are welcome.
