Imagining the Future

A Kids’ Makerspace

About:

All ages are invited to play, create and tinker in the Sheldon’s new kids’ makerspace. This space is designed to support and nurture museum visitors across various disciplines, from the arts & humanities to the world of technology.

This “mini”-Makerspace fosters community connections and provides a platform for creativity and innovation. From weaving on a loom to woodworking your own pixel art, there are numerous opportunities for hands-on learning and creative expression.

This is a collaboration between the Middlebury College Makerspace and the Sheldon Museum to inspire kids, families and communities to engage, create, and connect. Funding generously provided by Middlebury’s Rotary Club, the Vermont Children’s Trust Foundation, Table 21 and the William F. Brooks, Jr. Endowed Fund for Education Initiatives.

Come imagine with us!

What will you find in the Makerspace?
