This 2-part workshop will take inspiration from artifacts in the Sheldon Museum as a basis for collage-making. Participants will meet over two classes, creating decorative papers using alcohol ink in the first class and assembling a collage with parts and pieces of those papers in the second class. The two classes will be taught by Leigh Harder, a local painter who uses the medium of alcohol ink in her work.
Part 1: Thursday, July 17th -9:00-11:30am
Part 2: Thursday, July 24th-9:00-11:30am
Class size will be limited to 12 people and is open to students in high school through adult. Please plan on attending both classes. All materials will be provided and no prior experience is needed
