An Evening of Christmas Carols with Ronnie Romano

  • Henry Sheldon Museum One Park Street Middlebury, VT 05753 United States (map)

We at the Sheldon Museum are missing our Holiday Open House this year—a time when visitors delight in the model trains, and listen to carols played on the Sheldon's Chickering piano. This year, we invite you to a special Holiday Concert via Zoom.

On Monday, December 21 at 7 pm, join pianist Ronnie Romano for an evening of carols at the Henry Sheldon Museum! He will play Christmas music from Henry's 1879 Episcopal hymnal preserved in the Sheldon's archives. Henry was the organist at St. Stephen's Church in Middlebury, where he played many of the same hymns you will hear during this program. Enjoy the sounds of nineteenth-century Christmas played on Henry's historic Chickering piano. Following the program, Ronnie will take a few carol requests!

Ronnie Romano is a recent Middlebury College graduate living in New Haven, VT. He is the music director of the Wellspring Hospice Singers here in Middlebury, organist and music director of the First United Methodist Church in Ticonderoga, NY, and a private music instructor in piano, ear training, and music theory.

Reservations are not required, just come. There is no fee for the program—our gift to you!

Here is the Zoom information for joining us on Monday the 21st at 7 pm.
