| If you are interested in Addison County and Vermont history, enjoy working with the public, or like the environment of an historic house, then the Henry Sheldon Museum of Vermont History is the place for you! The Henry Sheldon Museum could not exist without the many volunteers who offer help in a variety of ways.
Volunteer positions include tour guides, school program assistants, collections assistants, museum shop attendants, buildings and grounds workers, research assistants, office workers and special events assistants. Some jobs require a regular commitment while others are for a specific project or event only.
Museum volunteers participate in an annual Volunteer Enrichment Series each spring, receive on-the-job training and a variety of benefits including free admission to many Vermont museums and historic sites. What special skills could you bring to the Henry Sheldon Museum? If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mary Manley, Associate Director at (802)388-2117 or at mmanly@HenrySheldonMuseum.org. | |
