Here’s what we are looking for:
Furniture – Adirondack style “camp furniture, pine, walnut, cherry. Blanket chests, drop-leaf tables, one-drawer stands. Coin silver spoons. Sterling items. Jewelry – cameos, vintage costume, Indian, Victorian, fine.  Decorated tinware. Hand painted tole trays. Old quilts and bedcoverings. Old textiles – linens, woven pieces, homespun, appliqué, table linens, house linens. Folk art – quirky items/handmade-Vermont or otherwise. Indian-Abenaki or others. Tramp art – frames, boxes, etc. Crocks – blue decorated, brown, ovoid. Redware. Vermont “country” paintings or other older paintings. Pottery – porcelain, lusterware, English, pearlware, French, Asian, pitchers, mugs/cups, plates, old mixing bowls. Lanterns, chandeliers, and antique lighting. Wood items – spoon boxes, burl ware. Garden ornaments. Vintage clothing. Crystal and china. Copper items. Old coins. Civil war items. Vermont/Addison County books and documents. Antique book sets. Antique metal farm items that could be used for decorative use. Fireplace items. Anything Vermont or Addison County or Middlebury or Middlebury College. Advertising items. Old toys and other antiquated items (skis, skates, etc.) Maps and atlases. Glassware. Pewter. Daguerreotypes. Old postcards. Autographs. Signed baseballs…

Research Center Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 1-5 p.m., Thursday 1-8 p.m. & by appoinment
